How does a wife and mother witness to her husband and children if they do not feel that you can live an overcoming life?

First of all, by living an overcoming life yourself and manfiesting that you never get angry, that you're patient, longsuffering, that you're kind, manifesting the Spirit of Christ.

That is how a father or mother manifests the life of Christ to children. If children see father and mother yelling at each other, it's pointless telling them about victory over sin. Repent. But, if they see father or mother slipping up and asking forgiveness—even from the children—they'll say, "Oh, my parents are different from other parents who never ask forgiveness."

So, our witness is by our life first of all, and if they don't see that, there's no use preaching to them about victory.
